Abstract
Report from Richmond, Virginia noting aftershocks for the February 7, 1812 earthquake. Notes that on the 3 nights previous to February 11 there successive slight earthquakes and alarms of fire in the city.

RICHMOND, Feb. 11. Memorabilia.--Successive slight Earthquakes, and alarms of Fire for the 2 last nights. On Sunday night last, (about 1 o'clock) the Fire Bell tolled; but no mischief of any consequence was done.-Last night, about 8. the bells again tolled a small wooden house in the rear of the main-street (near the Market-Bridge) was on fire; but by some exertions the fire was got under, after the destruction of 1 or 2 wooden houses of little value.
