Abstract
Brief article notes that two African Americans wee convicted of setting a fire that burned the hemp factory of J. W. Hunt. Fire occurred December 16, 1811 possibly earthquake related.
Transcript
The two Negro Boys who were taken in custody for burning the bagging factory of Mr. J. W. Hunt, have underwent their trial. They were found guilty, and had sentence of death passed upon them.
