Abstract
Account of an earthquake that was felt in January 1811 in Georgia and South Carolina. Places felt were Augusta and Louisville Georgia. Date of earthquake was January 13, 1811.
Transcript
The shock of an earthquake felt in the neighborhood of Augusta noticed in our last we are told, has been more severely felt in the interior of this state. From information received, the shock must have extended at least eighty miles. In Louisville a chimney was thrown down; some other damage done, and the inhabitants much alarmed.
