Report from the Caribbean that the Island of Curracoa and Little Curracoa and part of the Island of Bonaire were sunk by an earthquake on February 9, 1811.
Transcript
CURRACOA SUNK. Capt. Stevens, arrived at Boston, says it was reported at St. Domingo, that the whole island of Curracoa, with little Curracoa, and part of Bonair, was sunk by an earthquake on the 9th of Feb. with all the vessels in the harbor, amongst which was a vessel from London with a cargo worth 200,000 dollars.
