Transcript
The editor of the 'Courier, at Louisville, (Ky.) has a list of the number of boats (and an estimate) from actual inspection, of the value of produce and merchandize, which passed the Falls of the Ohio, during the fifty days commencing on the first of Oct. 1811. From this statement it appears, in the aggregate, that during the time, which was the dullest season of the year, there passed 38 flat bottomed boats, 8 barges, and 3 keels.
