MARIETTA, DEC. 28. The Earthquake--We forgot to mention in our last, that at the time of the first shock of the Earthquake, we understood some persons living on the elevated plain, near the old fortifications in this town, perceived a light so strong that they imagined they could have counted houses on the point. We have selected for this number the accounts from various papers in the state respecting this phenomenon.
