Abstract
The American Indian Heritage was written by Emmy Award winner John Kauffman (1947-90), a member of the Nez Perce Tribe. Side 2 of this play discusses the many unique qualities of Native American peoples and cultures, dispelling the myth that Native American culture is monolithic. This is followed by a discussion of the roles that religion played in Native American cultures. This is side 2 of 2.
