Abstract
The article discusses seven essentials for developing voice quality while singing in a choral ensemble. Topics discussed include choral warm-up as one of the greatest tools to develop voices; hearing a cacophony of vocal sounds, especially when warming up more advanced singers; opening moments of rehearsal as an opportunity for group voice building or group vocal technique.
