An improved synthesis of tetramethylcyclopentadiene
Abstract
A two-step synthesis of tetramethylcyclopentadiene, immediate precursor to substituted cyclopentadienyl ligands, has been developed based on a cyclodehydration reaction, providing this material rapidly and in relatively high yield. © 1994.
