An automated analysis of multiple thermal transient sets for nuclear piping.
A complete thermal transient analysis programme which is highly automated, and requires much less effort from the design engineers, was developed. The manhours were significantly reduced while each analysis is performed consistently, accurately and was more in accordance with quality assurance programmes. This paper presents technical details on the automated analysis of multiple transient sets. This feature of the programme is illustrated via an example.
