The back side of the "Honor King: End Racism!" sign worn in the Memorial March on April 9, 1968, the day before the funeral for Martin Luther King, Jr. The back side features a handwritten inscription that says, “Sign worn in Memorial March to City Hall from Clayborn Temple on Monday, April 9, 1968, the day before funeral of Martin Luther King. This march, nationally televised from Memphis, was led by King’s widow, Mrs. Coretta King. Sign worn by Carol Lynn Yellin of M. S. M. Committee.”
