Description

Broadside announcing the first ceremonies at Lambuth College, corner of Long (now Lambuth Boulevard) and King Streets, Jackson, Tennessee, circa 1923. Dr. E.F. Cook, Director General of Christian Education for the Methodist Episcopal Church, South was to give an address and Dr. A.B. Jones, former president of the Memphis Conference Female Institute, Lambuth's predecessor, was to turn the first shovel of dirt on the site of the new campus.
