Description
Advertisement letter, to H. B. Derrick, Marianna, Arkansas, from Geo. T. Webb & Company, "Cotton Factors and F. O. B. Merchants", Memphis, Tennessee, 1928 November 2.
"Cotton prices closed 17 points lower today in face of heavy rains in the Miss Valley and freezing temperatures in the North-west, a shade higher basis and encouraging textile reports both in this country and Europe...When you accumulate a list of off grade staples, suppose you let us have the samples. Believe we can beat your prices down there on this cotton."
