Course Description: Practical application of biomedical design principles with emphasis on project management, teamwork, prototype production, risk analysis and management, technical drawings, patent review with claim development, market analysis, regulatory issues, professional and ethical responsibilities of a biomedical engineer, engineering analysis/reports, incorporation of standards, prototype verification/validation, and presentation skills.
