Report that earthquakes may effect globe. Notes earthquake on March 31, 1761. Felt in Scotland, Ireland, Holland, Portugal and Spain.
Transcript
It would seem that the shock of an earthquake may be almost co-extensive with the globe. In the year 1761, on the 31st day of March, a shock was felt in Scotland, in Ireland, in Holland, in Portugal and Spain, in Macedonia, in South Barbary, at Barbadoes, and in the Madeiras.
