ANOTHER EARTHQUAKE! Three distinct shocks of an earthquake were felt in this city, yesterday morning. The two first were slight, and perceived by but few. The third, which came on at 5 minutes past 1 o'clock, continued about two minutes with considerable violence. The night was perfectly calm, no sound accompanied the convulsion; yet most of the inhabitants were instantly roused from their slumbers by the tremulous motion of their beds; and the rattling of loose furniture. A gentleman who was awake through the whole, imagines, from the motion of his bed, that the first shocks came from the North, the last from the South.
