Felt report for Washington, D. C. for the February 7, 1812 earthquake. Notes time of quake was “about 4 o’clock”. Several people were awakened by the quake and part of a ceiling in a room was shaken down.

WASHINGTON, February 8. Yesterday morning about four o'clock, another shock of an earthquake was felt in this city. Several persons were awakened from their sleep and much alarmed by it-In one instance a part of the ceiling of a room was shaken down by it
