We are happy to find that the experiment made by the steam-boat New-Orleans, demonstrates in the most satisfactory manner, the capability of propelling her against the current of the Mississippi. We are informed by a gentleman who was on board, that the trip from here to the Turn, and back; (ten leagues) was made in five hours and two minutes by his watch.-Orleans Gazette.
