Transcript
We have received but few late papers by the Mails of this week; and none from the District of Columbia. We are therefore unable to furnish any Congressional proceedings of consequence, subsequent to those contained in our last. The Earthquake it appears, has been felt through the state of Tennessee, Kentucky and Ohio, the Indiana and Louisiana Territories, and as far as Alexandria, in Virginia. At St. Louis, fifteen miles below the mouth of the Missouri, the shocks were violent and numerous.
