Cincinnati, Ohio felt report, December 16, 1811 earthquake. Catalog of the shocks felt at Cincinnati. Gives time, duration and strength of the shocks.

COMMUNICATED BY GEN. LYTLE 1811 December 16, Monday Morning Duration 1st 15 minutes after 2 o’clock A. M. 15 min. 2d 45 do do do do do slight 2 min. 3d 15 do do 7 do do 5 min. 4th 25 do do do do 4 ½ min. 5th 45 do do do do slight 6th 10 o’clock A. M. 2 ½ min. 7th half past 11 do P. M. slight in some places and considerable felt in others. 8th the 17th at 35 min pas 11 o’clock A. M. The 1st and 3d most severely felt here, and Shook the earth and all nature most terribly.
