Reports from the South and West. Accounts from the South and West of the damage and alarm caused by the New Madrid earthquakes.
Transcript
Earthquakes. We lament to find that almost every mail brings some new accounts of alarms and damage in the southern and western sections of the Union, from Earthquakes. Some of the visitations of these "dreadful summoners" have been most awfully affecting.
