Brief felt report from Lexington, Kentucky for the February 7, 1812 earthquake. “Another shock was felt yesterday morning. about half past three o’clock. It was more sever than any which has preceded since the first commencement. Previous to the shock, during its continuation and for some time afterwards, there was a loud rumbling, like distant thunder.”
