Abstract
Felt report of the aftershocks of the February 7, 1812 earthquake at Charleston, South Carolina. Date of the first aftershock was February 10, 1812, time felt was 4:01 p.m., it was “a slight percussion of the earth was felt for a few seconds”. Another one was felt on February 11, 1812 at 6:24 am for 30 seconds. Also the same day “tremulous motion of the earth was distinctly felt throughout the whole of yesterday. Light pendulous articles vibrated frequently.”

MORE EARTHQUAKES! On Monday afternoon, at one minute past four, a slight concussion of the earth was felt for a few seconds; and yesterday morning at 24 minutes after 6; there was another shock which continued about 30 seconds. N tremendous motion of the earth was distinctly felt through the whole of yesterday. Light pendulous articles vibrated frequently.
