Brief report from Columbia, South Carolina that an earthquake was felt there May 4, 1812, possibly a New Madrid aftershock. “ A considerable shock of an Earthquake was felt at Columbia, in this State, on Monday, on the 4th inst. A little past 10 o’clock, A. M. - A slight concussion was felt at the same time in this city”
