Abstract
Felt report from Charleston, South Carolina, for the January 23, 1812 earthquake. “A letter from Columbia, states that a fire broke out in the Academy of that place, on the morning of the 23d inst, about 5 o’clock, which destroyed the building. The town also felt a shock of an Earthquake, on the same morning, at 9 o’clock.”
