Abstract
Felt report from Clarksville, Tennessee for the December 16, 1811 earthquake. “On Sunday night, the 15th we experienced the effects of an alarming earthquake-the shocks of which still continue to be felt- and at this time (Friday) we see the rocking of the houses attended by a loud rumbling-It proceeds from the southward-great anxiety will be experienced until we hear from that country.”
