Abstract
Felt report for the February 7, 1812 earthquake at Augusta, Georgia. Duration was “5 or 6” minutes. Another shock was felt the day after(February 8) in the evening at 10:30. Notes that other shocks less violent were felt.
Transcript
On Thursday morning last another shock of an Earthquake was experienced, here, supposed to be equally as violent as any of the others lately felt in this place; it continued for 5 or 6 minutes. Another shock was also felt on Friday evening last about half after ten o'clock, it was but little less violent than either of the others-several other less violent motions have been felt.
