Abstract
Report that the editors of the Raleigh Register doubt the accuracy of the John C. Edwards accounts.
Transcript
The editors of the Raleigh Register, observes, "we have reason to suspect that the letter published in our last paper, under the signature of John Clarke Edwards, giving an account of a Volcano, said to have burst out in Buncombe county, is unworthy of credit. We shall be able in a short time to ascertain the truth."
