Abstract
Comments on the Comet of 1811 and other natural phenomena. Notes that a double sun had been recently seen. This is an optical illusion.
Transcript
Communicated. A reflecting correspondent in speaking of the Comet, and some recent uncommon appearances concludes his letter with the following:-- P. S. "some of our neighbors, about two weeks ago, saw two suns-the phenomenon of the parhelium, caused by reflection.-There is no doubt but we live in an age of wonders! Yet more and much greater are yet to come-for the seventh thunders will shortly sound, after which the seventh angel will blow his trumpet, which will introduce a most eventful period, indeed!
