Abstract
Short notice on the earthquakes in the Caribbean that notes while the earth had trembled at Augusta, it had been spared the major damage that occurred there.

OUR readers will find this day some further particulars of the late Earthquake at Carracas. How grateful ought we to be, that while the earth here too has trembled, we have been preserved from such destructive calamity and distress as some other places have experienced.
