Brief report that the December 16th earthquake was felt “from Georgia to the Indiana Territory, inclusive. It was slightly felt in New Jersey. Another shock was noticed in the same places on the 17th.”

The Earthquake of the 16th ult. was felt with equal severity from Georgia to the Indiana Territory, inclusive. It was slightly felt in New-Jersey. Another shock was noticed in the same places on the 17th.
