Abstract
Advertisement for the company that owns the steam boat New Orleans to buy stock by subscription for the company. Nicholas Roosevelt is the person soliciting. He was one of the officers of the company and had accompanied the boat on its trip down the Mississippi river.

STEAM BOATS. PERSONS desirous of becoming interested in the Steam boats, under the patent of Messrs. Livingston & Fulton, which are intended to navigate the MISSISSIPPI, OHIO and CUMBERLAND Rivers, as high as the Falls of Ohio-will apply to the subscriber, at the office of Messrs Talcott & Bowers, between the hours of 11 and 2 o'clock, where the subscription book will be opened only until filled.
