Description
The darts used with the blowguns were made of light wood or split cane, and would be wrapped with thistle down or animal hair to form an airtight seal inside of the blowgun. This weapon was most commonly used to hunt small game like birds and squirrels, and modern usage and experimentation indicates that a blowgun dart can be accurately fired up to 60 feet!
