Description
Some tools were made with non-lithic materials. Materials like bone, antler, and shell were commonly fashioned into both simple and complex tools. Bone and antler are both relatively hard materials, and could be fashioned into tools like this batons were used to shape the edges of worked stone tools in the pressure-flaking technique.
