Description
Antler / antler tines were an important part of the process by which chipped stone tools like projectile points and knives were made. Specifically, antler tine was frequently used during the final stage of projectile point creation, in a process known as pressure flaking. This shows definite evidence of use polish, indicating that it was in fact likely used as a pressure flaking tool.
