The Vice Provost and Dean of the Graduate School, Dr. Deb Tollefsen, welcomes graduate students to the retreat and offers advice on perseverance. Dr. Meredith Boulden, Director of the Writing and Communication Services, covers what research gaps are, how to discover them in your dissertation process, and examples of how to bridge the gap.
