Abstract
In this Master's thesis a simpler proof that the relativistic wavefunction given by the Klein-Gordon equation converges to the wavefunction given by the Schrodinger equation in the nonrelativistic limit is presented. This proof relies on the spectral theorem for selfadjoint operators and Taylor's theorem.
