Abstract
As this is a fictional novel, there is no abstract. A brief summary: THE GENESIS PROJECT is American Gods meets the biblical Book of Genesis, and it’s picking a fight with the U.S. Constitution. This is a novel about the myth of American history; the power of nature; and humanity’s connection to stories that help us explain ourselves. Contrasting the “realities” of American life–politics, news cycles, and social media–against our nation’s fascination with religion, faith, and the mystical, The Genesis Project makes the case that, just as humanity’s understanding of the Garden of Eden has shifted and changed over the millennia, the myth might be due for another revision.
