Conclusion to the Handbook of Social Psychology
Abstract
This conclusion to the Handbook of Social Psychology highlights the overarching themes and interconnections between the diverse areas of research that fall under the umbrella of sociological social psychology. The Handbook covers foundational insights in sociological social psychology and illustrates the value of connecting social psychology with other subfields of sociology. Common themes that emerged across the chapters in this Handbook included centering the experiences of marginalized others, addressing inequalities, and examining social and technological changes. The chapters provide insights into future research possibilities and it is hoped that readers can utilize this work to further explore the breadth and depth of sociological social psychology.
