Authentic learning: A practical introduction & guide for implementation
Abstract
The implementation of authentic learning in classroom for making the knowledge received by students in classrooms consistent with the learning situation of real-world, is discussed. Authentic learning offers the opportunity for teachers to bring the outside world into the classroom. The process allows students to explore, discuss and meaningfully construct concepts and relationships in contexts that involve real-world problems and projects. Guidelines for teachers in practicing authentic learning are also presented.
