Adoption of web-based services for information search by organizations: A multilevel contextual analysis
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the affect that IS maturity, organizational factors, and environmental characteristics have on perceived usefulness and adoption of web-based services for information search in organizations. A research model and hypotheses were developed and tested with data that was collected from senior managers in organizations. This study reveals the importance of perceived usefulness, IS maturity, firm performance, and IS budget for adoption of web-based services.
