Analysis of cell-stressing substrate strains by large deflection plate theory
Abstract
The axisymmetric von Karman plate equations are solved using the infinite series solution developed by Way(1934). Solutions are obtained for the strain fields on Pellethane diaphragms used in various bone-cell stressing experiments.
