Understanding the innate immune response to tissue engineering fibrous templates is critical for promoting in situ regeneration
Abstract
This presentation will focus on the critical nature of the innate immune system (cell types and temporal nature) and its potential role in in determining the ultimate ability of an implanted, acellular fibrous tissue engineering template to induce and direct in situ regeneration.
