HYBRID PERFORMANCE MODELLING METHOD FOR VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENTS.
Abstract
Existing techniques are extended to cover the performance of virtual computer systems, using analytic models of page rates and of computer system steady-state performance, and discrete event techniques to model real-time aspects such as the loading and scheduling of jobs. Some of the results are graphically presented and their validity discussed.
