Oxidative cleavage of oximes with silica-gel-supported chromic acid in nonaqueous media

Abstract

A simple procedure for a clean and high-yielding oxidative deoximation of benzaldoximes and ketoximes using a silica-gel-supported chromic acid reagent has been developed.
