Constitutive thermal creep deformation relations for lifetime prediction of a fusion reactor first wall ferritic alloy
Abstract
A new approach to thermal creep deformation analysis, termed the θ-projection concept, is applied to experimental data for a ferritic steel, HT-9, for use in the first wall of a nuclear fusion reactor. It is shown that the creep strain values and creep rupture life of a component made of this material may be satisfactorily estimated with the aid of this method. © 1991.
