Cyclic homologs of xanthines. I. Imidazo[4,5‐e][1,4]diazepine‐5,8‐diones
Abstract
A useful synthetic approach to variously alkylated 4,5,7,8‐tetrahydro‐6.H‐imidazo[4,5‐e][1,4]diazepine‐5,8‐diones is reported. These compounds are potentially interesting cyclic homologs of pharmacologically important alkylxanthines. Copyright © 1988 Journal of Heterocyclic Chemistry
