Comments on the effectiveness of the Szabo and Kolumban solution to false lock in Sampling PLL Frequency Synthesizer

Abstract

A simple circuit to correct false lock was proposed in [1], This work shows that when used in a low voltage environment, and during switching of the output frequency, this circuit may not always prevent the development of false lock.
