ON MULTIPLE-VALUED MEMORY ELEMENTS.
Abstract
A set of new flip-flops suitable for multiple-valued logic design are presented. A general procedure for synthesizing any sequential circuit is illustrated through examples. Two systems of algebra are compared for their suitability in implementing the combinational part of sequential circuits built of these flip-flops.
