Effects of Gonadotropin mixtures and two steroids on inducing ovulation in the walleye
Abstract
Acetone-dried carp pituitary, and human chorionic gonadotropin alone, or in combination with Low levels, of carp pituitary or luteinizing hormone or both, induced ovulation in prespawning adult walltyes (Stizosfediorr v, vitreum). Cortisone and progesterone were ineffective at the dosages tested. © 1978 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
